Let me introduce myself.
Hi, I’m Mel, I’m a professional qualified counsellor based in Leigh-On-Sea Essex.
I am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society (NCS) and an Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means I adhere to the Ethical Frameworks of both of these associations at all times.
The therapy I offer is very much tailored to the individual because there is no ‘one size fits all’. We are all individual and should be treated as such. I do have a special interest in Anxiety, Low Confidence and Self Esteem issues, but I offer support for a wide range of issues, such as; but not restricted to, addiction, abuse, bereavement, trauma and relationships.
I am an integrative counsellor which means I use various methods and concepts from Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Transactional Analysis Therapy.
I offer a completely non judgmental safe space where confidentiality is of upmost importance.
Sessions are for individuals over the age of 18.
Counselling sessions can be either face to face, by phone or online.
